Rispettate le attese: dalle 6 di questa mattina (ora italiana) è disponibile su tutte le piattaforme digitali Superblood Wolfmoon, la seconda traccia del nuovo album dei Pearl Jam, Gigaton (in uscita il 27 marzo). Un brano rock piuttosto diretto, essenziale.

Un brano, al primo ascolto, più in linea con la “tradizione” dei brani che aprono gli album della band di Seattle. Si parte con un riff di batteria. Ancora una volta la voce del cantante Eddie Vedder arriva all’ascoltatore arricchita da una serie di effetti in digitale. La strofa si propone come un crescendo. E poi, alla fine, arriva un buon assolo di Mike McCready.

La curiosità intorno a questo brano è stata incentivata grazie a una piccola caccia al tesoro con la realtà aumentata: per ascoltarne un primo estratto bisognava puntare lo smartphone verso la luna. Superblood Wolfmoon segue l’uscita del primo singolo Dance of the Clairvoyants.
