Oceans su Recensioni Matte (Cambridge)
Eccomi con una nuova recensione ancora una volta in collaborazione con @ultime_dai_libri che come sempre ringrazio. Oggi parliamo di “Oceans”, di Fabio Iuliano. Un libro molto breve che si legge in meno di un’ora e che racconta la storia di Simone. Simone vive in tanti posti diversi ed incontra molte persone diverse lungo il corso della storia, ma c’è una cosa, o meglio una persona, che non dimenticherà mai: Lei.
Quando l’ho iniziato non sapevo a cosa stessi andando incontro. Ho pensato a mille storie diverse del perché la ragazza fosse sparita e non fosse con lui, ma quando ho letto la verità dei fatti mi sono sentita davvero triste. Rimane comunque una bella storia di viaggi e incontri con culture diverse che rileggerò volentieri molto presto.

A very short book that can be read in less than an hour and which tells Simone’s story. Simone lives in many different places and meets many different people throughout the story, but there is one thing, or rather one person, that he will never forget: Her.
When I started it I didn’t know what I was getting into. I thought of a thousand different stories as to why the girl disappeared and wasn’t with him, but when I read the truth of the facts I felt really sad. However, it remains a beautiful story of travels and encounters with different cultures that I will gladly reread very soon.
